Supervises (3) three or more staff per cottage program, or as assigned by the NSP Manager
Coordinates with Manager and Assistant Supervisors to assure there is adequate coverage 24/7.
Carries out and documents bi-weekly individual supervision and weekly team meetings.
Develops bi-weekly schedules for assigned shifts.
Supports all Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) initiatives and ensures milieu fidelity to the model
Consistently utilizes and models for staff behavior management techniques as per Cornell TCI and agency policy & procedures.
Appropriate handling and reporting of all untoward incidents in accordance with agency policy, training and OCFS policy.
Promotes and supports cultural competence and sensitivity in the day to day work with youth, families and colleagues. This includes but is not limited to a respectful and safe culture within the programs that supports differences and reduces bias and bullying.
Actively role models CV Values and Positive Behavior Intervention. Supports all Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) initiatives.
Assist in oversight of overtime as it relates to all program's schedules and budgets.
Coordinating inter/intra-agency services with youth (education, recreation, work, mental health, finance, spiritual, substance abuse treatment, etc.)
Provides oversight during Team Meetings to assure implementation of each youth's permanency, independence and treatment goals.
Assures progress notes are comprehensive, grammatically correct and submitted on time.
Actively develops and supports a therapeutic living environment for all youth
Provides oversight in the development and implementation of individual service plans (ICMP's/ITM)
Assists in monitoring monthly living skills assessments.
Assists in monitoring and assures documentation of regular assessment of youth's clothing needs.
