Non Profit Accounting Manager

Job Description Job Description Immediate need Accounting Manager PrideStaff Financial is seeking an Accounting Manager for a local non-profit cultural organization based in Palm Beach, Florida that provides cultural and educational programs and enriches lives through the arts. Job Responsibilities: - Oversee all financial reporting and accounting operations in an inclusive and equitable manner

• Develop and maintain fair accounting policies and procedures with consideration for all

• Supportively manage accounting staff and provide leadership, training and development opportunities

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and manage audits thoroughly

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations fairly

• Analyze financial performance and provide helpful recommendations Skills Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

• 5 years of experience in accounting management

• Payroll process experience a must ; Paychex or any other payroll system experience

• Proficient in Blackbaud – Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge experience a MUST

• Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex financial issues collaboratively

• Highly organized with strong multi-tasking abilities to manage priorities effectively

• Meticulous attention to accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions

• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and accounting standards
