Do you have a passion for caring for our nation's veterans? Interested in entering the healthcare field but do not have a current C.N.A certificate? The Iowa Veterans Home has a new program just for you.
We will provide you with on-the-job training along with the resources you need to become certified while still working as a C.N.A and earning C.N.A pay. Openings are for evening shift with core hours from 2:00 pm-10:30 pm and for night shift with core hours from 8:15 pm to 6:15 am. Will work every other weekend.
Duties include performing basic personal care of residents following a plan of care developed by the primary nurse to meet the resident care needs. Will complete documentation and sign off in resident charts and care plans.
