Node. JS Developer Skills:

Minimum: 5 years of experience building and running focused Node. JS

7+ years preferred

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other technical field preferred

Masters Degree in a technical field a plus

Strong working knowledge of Java Script, XML, HTML, and various No-SQL databases, especially MongoDB.

Proficiency in multiple programming languages and tools, including working knowledge of front-end technologies

History working directly with development teams or leading teams

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies a plus

Must be a proactive problem-solver and demonstrate initiative

Ability to independently analyze and debug as needed

Strong logical reasoning skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Cyber Security Innovation (CSI) team is looking for a Front end developer on the FACTOR (Third Party Risk application) team. The CSI team is chartered with building new and innovative solutions for emerging Cyber Security problems where existing controls don't yet exist or are not mature enough to meet the organizations requirements. The selected candidate will be a Front end developer to continue to build and expand this custom tool. Acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products. Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices. Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments. Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments. Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures. Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems. Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.
