We are looking for a talented individual ready to join a dynamic team responsible for the creation and support of cutting edge, speech enabled Virtual Assistant applications. This is more than just a Bot that speaks! These solutions will leverage innovative design and development practices to create more intuitive and human ways for Fidelity associates and customers to interact with, and navigate, the complexity of broad Personal Investments product offering.
You will be part of a team responsible for the creation and support of customer facing, speech enabled bots. The team builds solutions that allow customers to interact digitally with Fidelity platforms in increasingly human ways, on the channels that are critical to enabling the real-time customer service experience and helping to get the job done for any customer request. As part of the team, you will be enabling customers to get the most out of what Fidelity can offer by creating intuitive and highly engaging experiences. This role is for an experienced analyst or software engineer looking to build a career in the fast-moving arena of natural language solutions, who can help the team execute on a mission critical customer experience driven vision.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years developing in a Java script, web or services-based environment
Working experience within an agile (scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.) development environment
Domain knowledge and experience with the Fidelity customer service model beneficial (Licenses not required)
The Skills You Bring
Desire/ability to learn and implement new technologies in enterprise class deployments
Experience with NodeJS/Python,JSON, SOAP / REST WebServices in Service Oriented Architecture is beneficial
Familiarity with VoiceXML and standard stack front-end UI technologies CI/CD development methods is beneficial
Experience with QA testing processes, test automation, and tools is preferred
3-5 years software engineering and or NLP analysis experience preferred
Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Developing/implementing the capabilities of speech enabled virtual assistant (Siri or Alexa like) in a Full Stack Developer capacity on an Agile/Scrum team
Developing the technical front end integration for our human assisted virtual assistant solution and ensuring that the customer digital experience and dialog integrates seamlessly with the associate experience.
Providing development and technical consulting with key business partners and stakeholders so that complex topics are completely understood. To accomplish this, you'll need to work closely with business, system and data analysts on your team in an agile manner.
Participating in the full agile process and gain exposure to the best practices of business acceptance and production validation to ensure requirements are met and the customer experience is not compromised
