System Admin (NL-24-040):Supports the evaluation, acquisition, installation of high-performance computing (HPC) systems to include hardware to include Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), software, and data storage devices. This position shall be responsible for multiple computing and data storage systems. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in a high-performance computer center. Relies on substantial experience to work under general guidance of a lead systems administrator / analyst. This position shall lead other systems admin personnel in performing assigned tasks. This position requires a TOP SECRET Security Clearance.
Required:
  • Shall have a B.S. degree in engineering or computer science or information systems and 7 years of directly related experience to include Microsoft Windows and LINUX operating systems
  • Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) are required.
  • Shall meet DOD 8570 requirements as an Information Assurance Technical, Level II (IAT-II).
  • Shall be appropriately certified prior to any contract performance in support of IA functions.
  • Shall be designated as an IAT-II due to limited privileged- level access to control, manage, or configure ISs and devices, with very limited (single devices) or no IA device access or management.
  • Shall have a favorable review of local personnel, base/military, medical, and other security records as appropriate; and Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and favorable review of SF 85P, SP 86, and Supplemental Questionnaire.
This position requires a TOP SECRET Security Clearance. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.
