Nl-24-036 Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Rhel) & Network Administrator - Huntsville, AL

We are looking for a skilled RHEL Administrator with CISCO network understanding, Ansible playbook experience, and AAP (Ansible Automation Platform) knowledge to assist with the deployment, management, and optimization of a RHEL AAP deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong RHEL understanding and knowledge of networking principles and protocols, along with the ability to learn Yet Another Markup Language (YAML) and scripting experience..

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles to automate deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure components within our facility.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the facility to gather requirements, identify automation opportunities, and develop efficient solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ansible automation, ensuring high availability and performance of critical systems within the Cybersecurity, System Administration, and Network infrastructure.

• Continuously optimize and enhance automation workflows to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability within each department.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation, DevOps, and cybersecurity technologies.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure automation, with a focus on RHEL.

• Current CompTIA Sec+ certification.

• Experience with network security principles and technologies.

• Experience with system patching and maintenance of Ansible playbooks and software.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure automation, with a focus on RHEL AAP

• Experience administering and maintaining Linux systems.

• In-depth knowledge of Ansible administration.

• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Yaml and Bash.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.

• Certified in either CompTIA Network+

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification.

• Experience with monitoring and logging all issues with their solutions.

• Experience installing, operating, and maintaining SQL databases.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. An active secret security clearance is required. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.
