Experience Installing new or rebuilding existing servers both physical and virtual, and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage. Perform day-to-day maintenance, patching and ensuring STIG compliance by monitoring, testing performance, troubleshooting OS, resolving hardware and software problems, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with other engineers on network / system optimization.Required:

Level II: 4-8 Years related work experience & B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field (may substitute with A.A. degree with advanced certifications in commercial networks/systems)
Level III: 9-15 years related work experience, B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field, related network/system certifications and an understanding of DoD Instruction 8570.01M

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance. This is a full-time position, located in Huntsville, AL.

VIEW JOBS Experience in Federal Information System Management Act (FISMA) reporting, DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository (DITPR) and other information assurance assurance-related compliance reporting. Supports Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and associated IA processes, procedures, and activities with capability and expertise to implement DoDD 8530.1, DoDD 8500.2, DoDI 8510.1, DoDI 8510.01 and other applicable NIST and CNSS IA directives, instructions, guidelines. Capability to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet network and system security requirements and perform vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems, networks and applications. Experience in providing Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodial Experience in testing to validate established security requirements, recommending additional security requirements and safeguards, supporting the formal testing required by government accrediting authorities, and preparing System Security Plans.
