In the Technical Publications Illustrator position, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing highly detailed illustrations and graphics for complex military publications and training courseware for current and new systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing military or civilian aeronautics focused illustrations and graphics from various engineering sources such as CATIA models and engineering drawings to support the development to technical publications.The selected candidate will also be responsible for developing innovative graphics and illustrations to support flight, maintenance, Job Guides (JG) and Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) manuals as part of new developmental efforts supporting Interactive Electronic Manuals (IETMs). This position will create all the necessary drawings to update the existing IETMS (Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals).Requirements for a level 3: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 4 years of graphic development experience. Must be able to research engineering data, drawings, CAD models, technical manuals, and other subject matter/source data to develop and sustain technical publication graphics. Specific requirements include technical drawing software proficiency, proficiency in Adobe CS and basic concept of graphic design and layout. Blueprint reading and basic engineering/drafting knowledge along with basic graphic computer skills i.e. Adobe CS, Excel, and Microsoft Word required.Requirements for a level 4: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 6 years of graphic/multi-media development experience. Must be able to research engineering data, drawings, CAD models, technical manuals, and other subject matter/source data to develop and sustain technical publication graphics. Specific requirements include technical drawing software proficiency, proficiency in Adobe CS and basic concept of graphic design and layout. Blueprint reading and basic engineering/drafting knowledge along with basic graphic computer skills i.e. Adobe CS, Excel, and Microsoft Word required.Desired: It is desirable that the candidate be diversified between various graphic software disciplines. Technical drawing skills i.e. NX, CATIA V5, PTC IsoDraw/CREO, SolidWorks, SAP Visual Enterprise, and working knowledge of a CPLM Team center environment.Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. An active secret security clearance is required. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.

Sr. Technical Publications Analyst Job duties: * Analyze Engineering documents (EIs, ECs, etc.) for impact to Maintenance/Flight/RPSTL publications. * Assist the Logistics Element Manager with delivery of Publications/LSA/Provisioning data to customer in accordance with cost, schedule, quality and technical performance requirements as agreed to by contract * Maintain detailed records of all publication changes and source documentation and be able to provide metrics to management. * Host/attend Program Reviews as needed to draft/review content or address comments/concerns. * Investigate/reply to customer comments and coordinate with engineering and suppliers to address comments/concerns as necessary. Qualifications: * BA/BS Degree in Business Administration or related field experience, or equivalent and four to seven years of technical writing experience. * Candidate must have knowledge of US Army UH60 A/L/M and International S-70i and S-70A Publications.
