The candidate will be responsible for the overall operation, maintenance and repair of assigned customers Audio/Video equipment and Video Conferencing configurations; including microphones, projectors, video display walls, control and automation systems, touch panels, and video codecs. Provide customer support, installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, software updates and upgrades.
Responsibilities Include
Installation, configuration and support of Audio/Video equipment and Video Conferencing configurations.
Preventative maintenance, process manufacturers RMA, software updates and upgrades.
Troubleshoot / determine root cause of equipment failures and replace equipment where necessary.
Document changes and maintain drawings in Microsoft Visio or other formats as requested.
Coordinate patches or updates across network connected equipment to resolve vulnerabilities or issues.
Work with video processors from Barco and RGB, and control equipment from AMX and Crestron.
Work with multiple transmission cabling such as copper, fiber, DVI, VGA, composite/component video.
Use enterprise management tools for trouble tickets, work orders, change controls, etc.
Work individually and as part of a team.
Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Required: BS degree and five (5) years experience [4 years experience, certifications, military service accepted in lieu of degree]. CompTIA Security + CE certification. AMX, Crestron, or other AV certification.
Desired: Experience working with federal government customers in support of delivery of visual information technology services.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. An active secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.

The Team specializes in large Full-Service, Software (S/W) controlled video conferencing rooms, Multi-Media systems, and custom solutions. The Team establishes and manages legacy, as well as new and emerging system control and desktop requirements. The acceptable candidate will have a solid background in system software engineering and implementation, preferably with a minimum of two (2) years in the A/V industry, and be familiar to proficient in AMX software and control systems.
