NJ Processing Center Group Leader

Description

This position is responsible for providing processing, operations and leadership support to the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drives PACE of teams in processing rooms.

• Leads and assists with processing and prioritizing of merchandise receipts in a highly productive manner

• Leads and executes merchandise flow standards, processing center organization

• Accepts inbound shipment and prepares outbound shipment

• Completes cycle counts for database sku integrity

• Understands, adheres to and reinforces brand standards

• Supports physical inventory and markdowns

• Assists supervisor in planning and organizing department goals by understanding priorities and takes a proactive approach to the flow of work

• Effectively communicates with supervisor and associates both orally and in writing

• Partners with supervisor to assist associates in building a team environment through strong floor performance and maintains a positive professional behavior at all times

• Key person in coordinating the training of new hires and current associates

• Promotes and takes an active interest in generating safety awareness

Minimum Salary: $18.75

Maximum Salary: $23.50

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail store or warehouse environment helpful

• Knowledge of PC's and software and the ability to quickly learn new systems

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and interact in a constructive manner

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and assist in all areas

• Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time

• Ability to periodically lift up to 25 pounds

• Ability to meet productivity standards after successfully completing training

• Complies with all safety, hazardous material and OSHA training, rules, and reporting to ensure a safe work environment

• Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments and schedule availability

• Reports to warehouse supervisor
