You'll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth. Our System Architecture team helps build customisable specific system solutions that enhance PwC's system capabilities to appropriately serve all client needs. As part of the team, you'll use enterprise architecture across application areas to build delivery models that map PwC capabilities to business needs outlined by clients.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Possessing knowledge of testing methodologies and integration of IT infrastructure and business applications to achieve an efficient testing effort that delivers a quality system to its customers including:

  • Understanding requirements from a business perspective to be validated through testing and assessing them in the context of an Agile/Scrum delivery model;

  • Understanding of the SDLC activities expected to deliver custom developed and packaged applications;

  • Understanding Testing Automation Frameworks and how they are applied to increase speed and accuracy of testing efforts to enable continuous deployment of IT infrastructure and applications;

  • Managing overall testing effort including project testing strategy and testing plans;

  • Contributing to thought leadership on testing tools, test automation, methodology, performance testing, and practices to support quality assurance in a continuous delivery model;

  • Using deep specialization of test methodologies, combined with knowledge of IT infrastructure and business applications to improve quality of delivery and business value;

  • Managing the quality and acceptance of vendor testing deliverables on large and complex software development, infrastructure, SaaS, and/or Cloud (such as Azure) solutions;

  • Designing test cases, execution of test plans, and analyzing and reporting of test case results to achieve quality assurance and business value objectives;

  • Developing and guiding the documentation of test plans and test cases so that the requirements and test cases are unambiguous, aligned, consistent, and not in contradiction with each other;

  • Working collaboratively within a delivery team at all levels including stakeholder management, with considerate ability to take ownership of tasks and complete them with minimal direct supervision; and,

  • Developing deep business and application domain knowledge for an assigned business portfolio to aid in critically evaluating the balance of both business needs and user requests.

Works with walk-up customers to resolve IT issues and answer IT-related questions. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues accurately, promptly, and to the user’s satisfaction. Works with customers with all levels of IT knowledge resolving issues, answering questions, and providing guidance. Works as part of a team as well as independently using IT skills and experience to resolve IT issues as quickly and accurately as possible. Ascertains patterns and develops proposed procedural and operational changes to minimize or eliminate common or recurring problems. Works under limited supervision on tasks within established procedures. Must have outstanding IT technical skills as well as customer service skills. Focus is on maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
