It is the responsibility of the Golden Nugget Las Vegas Security Lead-Nightlife Operations to perform basic and advanced security functions and to lead subordinate Security Officers assigned to Nightlife venues. This lead position must be both proactive and reactive with the application of all existing safety and security protocols to ensure a safe and productive environment for all employees and guests. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide unequaled service to our guests and employees.
Responsible for the security of the respective Nightlife venues.
Manage the assigned Security Officers assigned / posted in the Nightlife venues.
Partner and interact with the Hotel & Casino Security Department Management Team.
Maintain consistent and effective communication with the Hotel & Casino Security Department and the Director-Nightlife Operations.
Perform area based security patrols in assigned areas throughout the property. Direct the assigned Officers in Nightlife venues to patrol the respective venue(s).
Maintain crown control protocols and line control
Conduct identification checks to ensure only patrons of age 21 and older are permitted in age restricted areas per the standards of the Security Department and applicable venues.
Enforce the Golden Nugget's Code of Conduct and rules and regulations.
Perform citizen's arrests or legal detainments when it is legal to do so.
Complete security reports such as voluntary statements, employee accident reports, and computerized case reports.
Conduct investigations into violations of State and Local laws, the Golden Nugget Code of Conduct and any other situations requiring inquiry or investigation.
Perform other security or non-security duties as required.
Handle and process Lost and Found Property per Company standards.
Consistently maintain a positive, warm, approachable and professional demeanor.
Remain attentive and aware of your surroundings at all times.
Anticipate guests' needs from a security and guest service perspective.
Maintain respectful and professional communication with all employees at all times.
Maintain proper stature at all times; slouching or leaning is not acceptable.
Minimize unnecessary, non-work related distractions, including but not limited to personal socializing with other employees.
Recognize and acknowledge all guest complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Consistently behave in a manner consistent with safety, health and security regulations.
Maintain the cleanliness of the respective security posts in all Nightlife Operations.
Ensure identifications are being conducted properly
Enforce prescribed appearance standards for Nightlife venues (dress code)
Provide leadership support for Security Officers assigned to Nightlife posts
Communicate directly with Security Management Team and Director-Nightlife.

Must successfully complete company and gaming background screening process.
Ability to properly use security equipment such as; two way radio, handcuffs, etc.
Ability to successfully complete and legally possess the following training certifications:
Electronic Control Device (i.e., Taser)

Golden Nugget Defensive Tactics
In-Service review training
Current Alcohol Management Certification
Current Nevada Driver's License
Current American Red Cross or Equivalent Adult CPR Certification
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Minimum age requirement is 21.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's or related degree, preferred.
One year or more of military or law enforcement experience, preferred.
One year or more of security experience in a nightlife environment or similar experience, preferred.
