Job Summary: The Night Supervisor is responsible for the complete operations of the store when a more senior level manager is not present. This position will be scheduled primarily on 3rd shift to manage tasks that are typically reserved for nighttime shifts, occasionally position will be scheduled on 2nd shift based on business needs. This position will make appropriate recommendations to the store management team regarding any store concern or opportunity. Where applicable, this position will assist the management team with managing the fuel offer.

Principal Duties:
1.Ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a courteous and timely manner. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and solicit customer feedback and input.
2.Ensure execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and standards. Demonstrate knowledge of and follow Wawa's Crisis Management procedures when necessary.
3.Provide direction, motivation, and coaching for associates during the shift.
4.Recognize associates and celebrate accomplishments.
5.Enforce Wawa's cash handling and accountability processes and perform manager functions on register.
6.Administrate check-in of external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures.
7.Exhibit a working knowledge of store equipment and ensure facility and store conditions meet established standards.

11.Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
12.Ability to learn and utilize the store's technology
13.Must have reliable transportation
14.Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this role
15.Ability to direct others and prioritize tasks

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to work 35 40 hours per week

  • Ability to work primarily third shift with an occasional 2nd shift, weekends and holidays, based on business needs

  • Experience leading, developing and selecting teams preferred

  • Experience effectively implementing change and demonstrated results in execution

  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment preferred

  • Experienced in all areas of store operations, including foodservice

  • Proven and consistently demonstrated skills in the following:

  • Exceptional Customer Service

  • Relationship Building

  • Effective Communication

VIEW JOBS 2/26/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-05-27T00:00 Overview The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for controlling the day-to-day operations of the Inventory Control functions, which includes performing cycle counts of the warehouse inventory, conducting investigations of suspected out-of-balance items and making corrections to the inventory based upon that research. Coordinating all special processing of inventory including return to vendor shipments and performing other related tasks. Also responsible for supporting DC Operations from a systems perspective by maintaining item balance and transactional integrity between PeopleSoft and High Jump. This position works as part of a team to support DC Operations by understanding the interactions of the Company's computer systems as related to the physical activities of the business. Responsibilities * Manage the inventory control function effectively and indirectly lead warehouse staff to identify and resolve variances, and potential variances, to achieve an accurate, perpetual inventory count and protect company assets. * Maintain, develop, and implement procedures that ensure the highest levels of inventory accuracy are achieved while minimizing the amount of shrink incurred. * Review daily inventory reports for possible errors and communicate this information as appropriate. * Organize and facilitate shrink meetings and identify the root causes for shrink. * May participate in the hiring and training of warehouse associates. * Manage the Product Recall process * Reconcile PeopleSoft and High Jump balances on a daily basis by utilizing various reports (i.e., Inventory Reconciliation Report). Investigate and resolve BCT Errors by analyzing transaction flow in both systems, understanding the impact on the item balances and timing issues and transaction process. This function is intertwined with several audit functions between PS/HJ on a daily basis. * Support the On-Line Database by understanding each request for a return of merchandise or report of a shipment discrepancy. Analyze request, determine resolution requirements and processing accordingly. * Investigate, analyze and resolve various requests involving transaction discrepancies as reported and/or requested by DC Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, etc. * Analyze Proof of Delivery and determine whether a freight claim should be filed against the Carrier based on its legal requirements. File freight claims through 3rd party software packages where applicable. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION, INCLUDING DEGREES & CERTIFICATIONS: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE (YEARS & TYPE OF EXPERIENCE): * High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. * 3 years supervisory experience in a Distribution / Warehouse environment. SKILLS & ABILITIES (TYPE & PROFICIENCY) : * Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
