Job Summary: The Night Supervisor is responsible for the complete operations of the store when a more senior level manager is not present. This position will be scheduled primarily on 3rd shift to manage tasks that are typically reserved for nighttime shifts, occasionally position will be scheduled on 2nd shift based on business needs. This position will make appropriate recommendations to the store management team regarding any store concern or opportunity. Where applicable, this position will assist the management team with managing the fuel offer.

Principal Duties:
1.Ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a courteous and timely manner. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and solicit customer feedback and input.
2.Ensure execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and standards. Demonstrate knowledge of and follow Wawa's Crisis Management procedures when necessary.
3.Provide direction, motivation, and coaching for associates during the shift.
4.Recognize associates and celebrate accomplishments.
5.Enforce Wawa's cash handling and accountability processes and perform manager functions on register.
6.Administrate check-in of external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures.
7.Exhibit a working knowledge of store equipment and ensure facility and store conditions meet established standards.

11.Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
12.Ability to learn and utilize the store's technology
13.Must have reliable transportation
14.Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this role
15.Ability to direct others and prioritize tasks

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to work 35 40 hours per week

  • Ability to work primarily third shift with an occasional 2nd shift, weekends and holidays, based on business needs

  • Experience leading, developing and selecting teams preferred

  • Experience effectively implementing change and demonstrated results in execution

  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment preferred

  • Experienced in all areas of store operations, including foodservice

  • Proven and consistently demonstrated skills in the following:

  • Exceptional Customer Service

  • Relationship Building

  • Effective Communication

An educational leader who works collaboratively with the full administrative team; reporting directly to the Assistant Superintendent for Student Activities/Services. Direct supervision of the special education directors and supervisors who assist the District Director of Special Education in overseeing the evaluation process for special education services and the development and implementation of student IEPs. The successful candidate will provide leadership in the development, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and recommendation of special education programs/services integrated into the general education programs of the district. Job Responsibilities: * Establishes annual department goals on a clearly defined priority basis, prepares strategies for achieving those goals, and agrees upon criteria for evaluating the accomplishment of the established goal * Conducts needs assessments of existing services and makes recommendation to the Superintendent on an ongoing basis * Coordinates all special education program facilities, curriculum, personnel, parent relationships, and activities * Collaborates with school administrators and special education staff for the purpose of implementing and improving services and programs * Coordinates all program recommendations through the offices of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Activities/Services and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Curriculum, and Instruction * Interprets policies/procedures and provides recommendations concerning issues of compliance * Develops and coordinates procedures for screening, evaluation, referral, placement, and provision of recommended services for students with disabilities * Oversees IEPs and Section 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with State and Federal Guidelines * Monitors workloads, compliance with mandated timelines, 3 year evaluations, and yearly IEP evaluation to assure efficiency * Establishes procedures to process and place classified pupils, including out-of-district placement, and arranges for transportation as per IEP mandates * Coordinates home instruction for district students as appropriate * Establishes effective liaison and referral with various offices and agencies both within and outside the community, that may provide specialized or professional help to students and their parents * Works with the administration to develop the department's annual budget for recommendation to the Superintendent and administers the approved budget * Recruits, selects, and assigns staff members for the Department of Special Education * Identifies the need for and provides in-service training for all staff concerning students with special needs * Keeps informed of all legal requirements governing the staff he/she supervises and of all potential sources for financial aid state, federal, and private * Supervises and evaluates administrators and staff members as assigned * Interprets and communicates information on program, services, and State/Federal regulations to school personnel, parents, the Board, and other districts * Serves as a District liaison to the special education parent group * Develops and maintains all reports and records legally required and administratively useful * Such other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools Middletown Township Public Schools Leonardo NJ
