Night Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs warehouse functions to ensure order fulfillment with 100% customer satisfaction.

• Development of supervisory team

• Leads warehouse employees and supervisors

• Manages activities of a team that are moderately complex

• Maintain a positive morale, work standards and developing teams

• Trains and manages performance of supervisors and other direct reports.

• Assertively seeks solutions at the root level of problems.

• Builds teamwork among DC management team and employees.

• Ensures warehouse operations comply with federal, state, local and company policies.

• Controls expenses

• Ensures warehouse and equipment are well maintained and that housekeeping meets company and FDA standards.

• Assist team with planning, organizing and directing warehouse activities to ensure successful 2nd shift operations.

• Effectively lead workers and Lead persons.

• Reducing employee turnover/overtime working hours

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience

Education

4-year degree or equivalent experience

Critical Skills

• 1+ Experience managing, leading and developing supervisors; this is a hands-on manager role with most time being spent on the floor

• Management skills - coaching and development of supervisors

• Demonstrated employee engagement skills

• Strong communications skills - open and candid verbal and written communications; ability to debate, decide and commit effectively at all levels and across all functional areas

• Computer proficiency in MS Office

• Very thorough knowledge of Operations Management

• Adept at strategic thinking and strategic business planning.

• Must be open to flexible night hours, Sunday through Thursday, with a typical start time of 6PM Sunday, and Monday - Thursday 7:30PM; must also be open to overtime as needed and adjusting shift based on business requirements.

Additional Skills

• 2+ years of leadership/coaching/developing experience

• 4 year degree preferred

• Excellent organizational skills

• Follow up and follow through

• Experience managing budgets and expenses

• SAP experience

• Project Management experience

• Adept at interpreting and analyzing data

• Six Sigma training or experience

Physical Requirements

• High energy distribution center environment

• May be required to work various shifts

• Some overtime required

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$79,200 - $132,000
