Night Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for installing, dismantling, assembling, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining conveyor and warehouse equipment. You are also responsible for ensuring that all the equipment is running properly and meets safety and operational standards. Night shift is expected to respond promptly to equipment failures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:

• Company provided tools

• Self-Motivated

• Ability to obtain Specials Boilers License after employment.

• Knowledge of all phases of electric power, 480-240-120 and the lower voltage control wiring

• Experience preferred in servicing: conveyors systems, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVAC

• Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information. Complete work orders and maintenance daily summary reports.

• Back up other Maintenance shifts/positions as needed.

• Oversee and perform daily housekeeping duties in maintenance shop. Maintain and cleanup work area after repair or install has been completed.

• Follow and comply with all health/safety rules and regulations.

• Maintain parts, hardware, and tool inventory. Notify purchasing when inventory requires replenishment.

• Install or relocate new and existing equipment.

• On the job training provided

• Requested specialized training available

• Valid drivers License

• Ability to work from heights

• Snow plowing (training provided)

• Rotating on Call (Approximately 6 time a year)

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen; criminal background check and a post offer physical (if applicable).
