Description
The Night I&E Technician is expected to be self-motivated and ambitious. Solution-oriented and accepts responsibility for actions taken. Expected to share expertise with others and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while on the clock. Expected to work at night outside in all weather conditions performing installation, troubleshooting, or other automation services for clients of BLS/BLSE. Expected to balance individual responsibilities and commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals or meet deadlines. Seeks out opportunities for growth and additional responsibilities. Adapting to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events/conditions. The Night I&E Technician is expected to be to work on time ready and prepared for the night's work including proper attire and PPE. The shift is 12 hrs/night with 8 days on and 6 days off.
Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare, install, and provide service maintenance on all company products at client sites
Keep accurate records of all hours logged, inventory parts used, and services performed
Efficiently follow direction from Foreman and Supervisors
Maintain professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external contacts, including company employees, customers, and outside vendors
Properly utilize and care for and secure all company tools, supplies, and vehicles
Company Vehicle, Clean, Maintained, Truck Inspections Performed. Without having to be asked or prodded to complete
Comply with all corporate policies and OSHA rules while carrying out all work processes
Effectively manage time, follow directions, and complete work within specified time
Successfully complete requested training classes and maintain all necessary safety certificates
Work environment
Expected to work outside for extended periods of time
Long periods of standing, crouching, leaning, and stretching
Working and driving at night, requires daytime rest
Expected to work in all weather conditions unless otherwise notified by Supervisor
Qualifications and Education Requirements
3 - 5 years Oil and Gas experience required
Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines.
Seeks increased knowledge
Each night needs to show productivity
Seek additional training with day operations, two way street reaches out to grow knowledge as producers evolve.
Customer Relations
Know all customers' expectations
Give nightly updates from call-ins and issues that still need addressed
Meets/ follows through with commitments
Responds promptly to customer needs
Responds to requests for service and assistance

Materials Tracking
Keep record of parts used per issue
Relays materials used in nightly report
Making sure all parts are billed out daily to help record keeping (Not billed out once a week)
Time Tracking
Keeps accurate notes with issues so information can clearly be communicated back to day shift
Night report needs to be in by 7:30am every morning
Communication
Report to your Ops Manager
Responds well to questions
Participates in Meetings
Makes self-available to ops manager
Provides regular communication with needs and issues
Responds to peers, subordinates, Supervisors, Managers in a timely manner

Communicates project changes and progress
Office/Admin

Good communication with day ops to ensure layover work completion
Keeps shop area clean and organized when calls and projects are slow

Need to have all paperwork completed, JSA, Hotwork, LOTO
Need to comply with company policies wearing full FR, steel toes, hard hat, with safety monitor on and calibrated
Successfully complete requested training classes and maintain all necessary safety certificates
