Night Custodian

1.Executes general work duties as described

2.Maintains an attendance record which reflects punctuality and regular attendance

3.Demonstrates a cooperative attitude towards superiors,co-workers, maintenance staff and the professional staff.

4.Reports to work in a well groomed and neatly attired manor.

5.Executes assignments in a safe and reasonable fashion.

6.Interacts with others in a courteous manner

7.Demonstrates safety and responsibility with respect to equipment provided by the Board of Education

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience as a school custodian, or the equivalent in custodial service at other institutions and firms.

• Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the basic techniques of custodial service.

• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

• Certificate of good health by school doctor.

• Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports.

• Ability to communicate with others.

• Demonstrate aptitude for completion of assigned tasks.

• Black Seal license (One-year time allowance).

• Valid NJ Drivers License

Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status

Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
