Job Description



To ensure hotel/club guest charges are properly posted on a daily basis. To ensure Hotel PMS, Restaurant POS & Club System are properly shut down and backed up on a daily basis. To ensure all guests are provided the same high level of service during night hours as day hours. To ensure hotel/club revenue is posted accurately and timely on a daily basis. To ensure hotel/club credit card receipts are properly treated on a daily basis.

  • Audit and post revenue - room, tax, parking, movie, phone and other revenue

  • Front Office shift work balancing

  • Audit all interface charges

  • Print the express check out folios

  • Complete the daily revenue report

  • Print revenue reports for cashier

  • Manage the Front Desk for 3rd shift

  • Audit and post Food & Beverage revenue

  • Audit and post Conference Service, Banquet Events Revenue

  • Create and distribute void & comp reports

  • Balance and process credit cards settlements

  • Complete distributions for revenue and statistics

  • Complete the daily Final close out

  • Complete and maintain tape backup of systems

  • Run shut down process of PMS, POS & MIcros


  • Enthusiastically greet and check in hotel guests as they arrive; smile and use names often

  • Assign rooms to guests and issue room keys

  • Provide directions to room, either directly to guest, or as escort instructions to DTS Attendant

  • Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts

  • Be able to make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests

  • Be able to assist in posting charges such as room, food, liquor, spa services, or telephone to guest accounts

  • Be knowledgeable of all hotel and club services, policies, hours of operation, special programs, marketing specials, department manager names and titles, and so on, and be able to answer hotel guests' questions and to market all RCS services to guests

  • Be knowledgeable of all Concierge information resources, including where and how to access them, and be able to provide concierge-type services to hotel guests when the Concierge is not on duty

  • Assist hotel guests and club members in using the Business Center's computers, printers, copier, and fax machine; check the room frequently to deter vandalism or theft

  • Date-stamp, sort and rack incoming mail and fax messages, as needed

  • Compute guest bills and collect payment upon check-out

  • Answer incoming telephone calls when calls are forwarded to the hotel Front Desk; transfer calls professionally and efficiently; take accurate messages as needed

  • Control the safe deposit box room and system; assist guests with signing in and signing out safety deposit box items

  • Ensure that all RCS operational policies for the Front Desk, Business Center, safe deposit boxes, and Concierge Desk are followed

  • Be highly security and safety-conscious; report all suspicious or inappropriate behavior to the Front Office Manager, Rooms Director of Security Officer

  • Assist with administrative duties as requested

  • Other responsibilities or projects assigned by the Front Office Manager

  • Schedule is variable, must be available to work weekends and holidays

VIEW JOBS 12/30/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-29T00:00 Night Auditor ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. * Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. * Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times. * Initiate and complete the End of Day process. * Run all reports as required for Food and Beverage audit. * Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily. * Balance the day's work. * Maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures. * Maintain Front Office computer system operation. * Fulfill all Front Office functions between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. * Handle and follow through on all guest requests daily from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. * Follow safety and emergency procedures. * Maintain proper record keeping (i.e., log books, etc.). * Be familiar with all policies and house rules. * Complete the initial direct bills, daily, and place on the Property Accountant's desk; Attach all folio/banquet check back-up to the bills. * Maintain radio contact with other employees during entire shift. * Have a working knowledge of security procedures. * Ensure employees are at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees. * Prepare and distribute the Daily Flash Report. * Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: * A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
