Basic Function

Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner. perform all Front Desk related functions including but not limited to checking guests in / out, promoting sales related programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, etc. Responsible for auditing the previous days receipts to verify and balance entries, runs reports and verifies accuracy of information.

May also assist with set up of Breakfast. May include food preparation, set up, service and / or cleaning. Only team member on property for the majority of the work shift and must be willing to and have the ability to work alone. Responsible for guest safety and security during overnight hours.

General Knowledge, Skill and Ability

Requires ability to take written and verbal direction and speak English clearly and read English. Requires ability to relate to the public in a warm, friendly manner in providing a hospitable environment. Requires ability to give attention to detail and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.

Requires thorough knowledge of Drury Hotels policies and procedures, for guest services. Requires ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines in the normal day-to-day activities.

Must be willing to and have the ability to work alone as scheduled. At some locations, may be the only team member on property during work shift.

Mental and Physical Requirements

AGE: Must be at least 18 years of age.

EDUCATION: Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in working with the public in a service industry or in related activities is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Requires ability to walk and stand during entire working period of 8 hours; requires ability to lift 10 - 15 pounds.

Working Relationships

  • Reports to the General Manager, Assistant General Manager or Front Office Manager.

  • Maintains and promotes a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments.

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-06T00:00 Position Title Secondary Marketing Regulatory Compliance Auditor Location Headquarters-Troy, MI Job Summary This person will ensure that internal controls are in compliance with policies, procedures, agency guidelines, and laws while coordinating audits as the auditor and working to fulfill internal audit and risk management requests. This position requires experience in the audit and/or risk management profession. Responsible for organizing Secondary Marketing audits; developing and maintaining positive relationships with audit and secondary marketing staff; coordinating with FSB Internal Audit leadership and staff; exercising professional auditor judgment; ensuring quality in compliance with regulatory and Institute of Internal Auditors professional guidance (the IPPF); maintains objectivity and independence in forming audit conclusions and reports. Job Responsibilities: * Meet with and work with Secondary Marketing Business Unit Managers to construct, review and approve procedures relative to compliance so that all regulator, model validation and audit requirements are met across all secondary marketing units, including securitization. * Utilize data reporting tools for ad hoc reporting. Analysis includes back testing of model assumptions, scrubbing data to answer questions as they arise, discover causes of unexpected results and fact finding. * Act as interdepartmental/external liaison. Manage all the risk assessment processes within secondary marketing as well as act as primary point of contact for model validation and internal audit activities. Manage information requests from external and internal parties and assist business units with agency requests received such as those from OCC, FRB, GSE, Governmental and Private Mortgage Insurers, Rating Agencies, etc. Review and advise concerning communications with these parties. * Work with internal business unit staff, OCC and auditors to ensure proper data integrity within QRM and MB Risk reporting. Oversee change control process within QRM. Oversee and test trading record requirements. * Respond to management requests for information and status concerning all secondary marketing regulatory activity. Maintain project plan of status of all reviews, procedures, statuses and dates. Assist with preparation of Secondary Marketing Risk Policy and Secondary Marketing Operations Strategy. Assist with plan for integration of Opes Advisors ensuring One Company level of compliance. Ensure all associated procedures are up to date. * Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies. Job Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree required in Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or related field. Master's Degree is preferred. * 7 years Audit and/or Regulatory Compliance Experience including at least 2 years relevant experience working with Financial Services Regulations/Audit/Compliance functions * Effective at managing workload to meet multiple deadlines under sometimes intense time pressure * Must be detail oriented and able to ensure accuracy when working with data and reports * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills * Exceptional database and spreadsheet management skills * Strong analytical and math skills * Effective at managing heavy workloads and multitasking abilities * Must be detail oriented and able to ensure accuracy when working with data and reports * Must be able to recognize and work out underlying issues to generate correct analysis * Working knowledge of secondary marketing concepts, practices and procedures * Working knowledge of mortgage banking industry and loan marketing * Travel Requirements are approx. 5% Internal Use Only: Band E Flagstar Bank Troy MI
