Registered Nurse-NICU

Full Time Permanent 3-12 hours Night Shift/PT Wknd 2-12 hours Day or Night shift

Very competitive rates to include shift differentials-$6ph week night/$12ph wknd night/$7.50 wknd only variable

Requirements:

We are looking for applicants with 3 years minimum in a Level III or 2 years minimum in a Level IV

Responsibilities:

• Strong assessment skills and demonstrate critical care thinking

• Evaluates and revises the plan of care based on evolving needs.

• Provides comprehensive, individualized teaching based on identified learning needs of families

• Management of Chest Tubes, Feeding Tubes, High Flow Oxygen, Nasal Cannulas, Tracheostomies, Ventilators, Central Lines, IV Medications Advanced modalities such as ECMO and CRRT

Qualifications:

• BSN in Nursing

• Current TX Nurse license

• TX resident

• At least 1.5 years experience in a NICU IV or 3 years experience in a NICU III

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• BLS from the American Heart Association

• Must be able to pass a drug screen
