WWL/WUPL is looking for someone to edit news video and perform technical tasks for weekend morning newscasts.


  • Editing video to specific written instructions to be used on weekend morning newscasts

  • Shooting video for use in newscasts

  • Editing video in a journalistically ethical manner

  • Routing live video from field crews for use in newscasts

  • Meet newscast deadlines


  • knowledge of non-linear video systems

  • Prior professional experience of shooting and editing video

  • Strong editorial judgment

  • Good communication skills

  • Associate degree or higher

  • Ability to work as a team member
