The News Analyst Team at PRIME Research creates and delivers news reports that offer key insights into regional, national and global trends, and monitors breaking news for clients in the automotive, pharmaceutical, consumer, technology, finance, non-profit and government sectors. These reports help shape client responses to crisis events, news reports and industry trends, and enables them to make informed business and PR decisions.
Monitor corporate, product, industry and competitor trends in the media for companies within a designated sector.
Research, analyze, and compile relevant media hits to create customized daily news reports for clients.
Write concise executive news briefings, which summarize the key highlights of the day.
Provide real-time alerts to clients regarding breaking news stories within their industry and competitive scope.
Available 30-40 hours per week
Weekends and holidays are likely
Attention to detail and punctuality are essential to this position.
Applicants should have strong, concise writing skills and be able to work under tight, daily deadlines.
Applicants should be comfortable with conducting keyword searches in either freeform or through customized search engines or databases.
Boolean search string knowledge a plus.
