New Patient Coordinator

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Coordinator. As a Patient Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and seamless experience from appointment scheduling to check-out.

Responsibilities: Greeting patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient appointments with healthcare providers Verifying patient information and insurance coverage Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries Collecting payments and processing insurance claims Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records Assisting with administrative tasks as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
