The Channel team's mission is to build a world class Ping Partner Network. In order for us to accomplish this goal, we need a new team member with channel, sales and strategy experience. This is a channel sales role for North America and will work with System Integrators, Value Added Resellers (VARs), Distributors and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The individual will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and onboarding new Ping channel partnerships. The key focus of their role is executing upon Ping's channel strategy focused on winning net new customers for Ping, and expanding our technology footprint with existing customers through our channel program. The individual will also be responsible for partner enablement, training, and presenting Ping's solutions to partners. Travel required.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners
Execute upon partner onboarding and enablement strategy at the field level in support of partnerships
Evaluate the effectiveness of new partners; continuously adjust strategic and tactical approach to ensure partners are the right fit and generating value quickly
Educate Ping employees on the value proposition of new partnerships
Collaborate with direct sales and marketing organization to socialize the value proposition of new partners
Establish and leverage senior level contacts in partner organizations to grow and expand partner relationships
3+ years field sales and/or business development experience in the software industry
1+ years field sales and/or business development experience in the IT security or infrastructure sector
Experience in optimizing channel program for revenue attainment.
Experience in identity management is a plus
Attention to detail and analytical skillset
Ability to present to small and large audiences in a variety of situations (executive meetings, enablement sessions, industry events)
Maintain high energy and professionalism
