This position is responsible for providing call center functions that focus on front-end new group business enrollment support, ensuring proper coordination with Brokers, Regional Sales Executives, Marketing Administration, and Underwriting. This position is responsible for interacting with other departments to mediate risk and ensure timely enrollment of group business.
Bachelor degree or 2 years experience to include the following: call center, marketing, corporate customer service, business processes, insurance administration, or benefits administration.
PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Verbal and written communication skills to interact with agents/brokers, compose correspondence to customers and coordinate services with other departments.
Organizational skills and detail oriented.
Analytical skills and mathematical skills.
Experience/skills consistently working independently including producing accurate and timely work.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to accurately, tactfully and professionally respond to technical inquiries from customers and vendors regarding complex or unique situations.
Discernment skills needed to understand our customers' roles and responsibilities to ensure that only appropriate information is shared/communicated. Employees must be able to tailor their communication style to be appropriate for the recipient.
Strong problem-solving skills, which include the ability to factor in risks and understand the potential impact of particular actions to the customer, group and all segments of our company.
