Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. * Implement and monitor patient care plans. * Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. * Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. * Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. * Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. * Admit patients to NIC holding unit, performing assessments and completing required documentation per policy. * Educate patient and family members regarding scheduled procedures and surrounding events. * Follow established procedures for performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing and cardio versions. * Thoroughly assess the patient and their history so that appropriate data can be acquired and appropriate testing can be performed. * Notify proceduralist of findings that warrant attention prior to the procedures. * Provide care to patients post procedure, implementing physician orders and readying patients for discharge or transfer to an impatient bed.RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
