Our focus is on recruiting electrical engineers with an interest or background in power engineering services to prepare engineering design packages for power systems facilities and renewable energy developments.

Key Responsibilities: Shaping the Future of Electrical Engineering

As an Electrical Engineer I your role will be crucial in contributing to the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design Expertise: Assisting in the design of solar facilities and layouts, distribution lines, transmission lines and substation facilities including electrical protection and control systems for renewable generation, transmission and distribution systems.

  • Analytical Excellence: Applying electrical engineering formulas, skills, and computational tools to solve complex problems and ensure accurate project outcomes.

  • Detail-Oriented: Collaborating to provide input to senior engineering staff on design issues based on the results of calculations or engineering solutions.

  • Research and Reporting: Conducting research to perform power system economic evaluations.

  • Cost Estimation: Assisting in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates.

  • Field Engagement: Performing field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineering staff.

  • Effective Communication: Engaging with client staff and internal design teams, following the guidance of senior electrical engineering professionals.

Qualifications and Requirements: Pioneering Excellence

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.

  • Preferred coursework in digital systems design, and experience with power system economic evaluations.

  • Preferred possession or ability to acquire within nine months of hire a valid of the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation.

  • Proficiency in CADD/PLSCADD software, modeling, design, and analysis software preferred.
