We are looking for New Grad RNs excited to learn and grow as Nurses! Looking for all units: Med Surg, PCU, and Critical Care

The new graduate RN/resident will be hired to a specific unit to begin their nursing career. In the residency program the nurse resident will be supported by leadership to attend all regulatory orientation requirements, as well as specific classes geared toward the new nurse transition. Additionally classes required for unit training/scope of practice will be offered, such as cardiac rhythm review, ALS, and other courses specific to care areas. ShorePoint Port Charlotte is a 254-bed full-service facility with a care team comprised of roughly 900 associates, 100 volunteers, and over 300 physicians specializing in over 40 specialties. ShorePoint Health Port Charlotte is a full-service facility offering services in emergency care, primary stroke center, orthopedics and the only licensed obstetric unit in Charlotte County. The on-campus Southwest Florida Heart Center is an accredited chest pain center with PCI offering comprehensive cardiac services.

Requirements:

• Must have graduated from an RN school

• Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred

• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

• Commitment to the 12 month residency program including participation in general and specialized learning experiences, finishing all activities and evaluations related to the program, preceptors and facilitators

• Commitment to professional development and competencies
