Work Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday (after hours as needed)

Pay Scale: $17-22/hr, DOE

Primary Job Functions: Primarily responsible for supporting communication of data from the office to the field crews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Able to handle complaints and unpleasant customers in a professional and manner

  • Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take incoming field technician calls for the New construction department

  • Compile job start books prior to day one of install - daily

  • Pull liens on completed phase of installs for billing daily

  • Review time cards of installers not assigned to a Project Manager for accuracy daily

  • Update job notes in S2K daily

  • Breakout labor hours into job phases per Project Manager

  • Review on-line builder's schedules daily and update S2K after confirming with Project Manager

  • Schedule all pre-deck, top out, roof penetration, fire off furnace, final trim, energy star, duct testing, and blower door per updates from Project Managers

  • Check builder websites for scheduling updates daily and notify project managers of schedule changes of upcoming installs

  • Receive daily updates from field supervisors, foreman, and project managers and update the dispatch board accordingly.

Utilize available resources to transport shipments in the safest and most cost effective manner to meet or exceed customer expectations and achieve company goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Communicate company safety program and enforce safety rules and compliance with all government regulations. Maintain a safe work environment at all times. Follows all YRCF Safety protocols in the event of an accident or injury. * Develop daily delivery plan utilizing equipment, manpower, and other resources to ensure an effective / efficient operation and meet customer expectations. * Supervises all activities of drivers responsible for pick-up and delivery of freight at customer locations. * Manage work assignments, monitor performance and provide training on job duties, company policies and procedures. * Speak to employee groups and conduct effective pre-shift meetings. * Ensure proper work methods are utilized at all times. * Communicate clear performance expectations to ensure high-performance work environment and proactively provide specific, balanced and timely coaching/feedback to reinforce and encourage high performance and promote a culture of teamwork. * Complete necessary paperwork/data entry accurately and in a timely manner to ensure an efficient and steady flow of information. * Maintain knowledge of applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements. * Regularly communicates with customers for delivery and pick-up needs. * Ability to coordinate with Dock & Yard Operations, as well as clerical personnel, to properly service customer shipments in a timely fashion. WORKING CONDITIONS This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The position requires the ability to spend long hours standing while using office equipment and computers. Occasionally sit. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Continually speaking and hearing, giving and receiving directions. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
