We are looking for a high energy, ambitious, self-starter with strong work ethic and integrity to join us as an Assembly Engineer for New Product Introduction! We encourage you to take the initiative collaborate with Package Development Engineering, Advance Development Technology, Site Operation teams, dedicated to the effective ramp up of new products and packages in Assembly manufacturing site.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

Prototype System Assembly

  • As part of the Emerging Memory Solutions Systems performance team work on performance characterization with state-of-the-art Storage and memory products.

  • Craft layout blocks from schematics

  • Foster a team of diverse team of Engineers working on design, development testing and deployment of software applications for the Product Engineering groups at Micron

  • Develop cross function processes to improve reliability and quality of products.

Assembly Documentation

  • Strong working knowledge of software engineering principles and crafting and developing firmware using assembly and C/C++ programming.

  • Build, document and support business processes for changes related to line/area optimization

  • Assist and support the transfer documentation of layout/architecture fundamentals of new technology from R&D to manufacturing and contribute towards ensuring successful.

  • PCB back-end process: defining stack-up and via technologies, part placement, setting design constraints, signal integrity and power integrity analysis

Training

  • Highly motivated to develop the new technology node until mature manufacturing capability, driving critical program metrics

  • In addition to design, You will mentorship and provide technical guidance to other hardware team members

Travel

  • Engage positively and collaborate with central teams and other manufacturing sites for mutual benefit

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers

Cm Support

  • First point of contact for the local sig cm support teams to advance questions regarding build or test issues.

  • Utilize statistical tools for detailed data analysis on product to drive yield improvement projects

  • Communicate frequently with the local sig cm support team and contract manufacturing sites to dedicatedly address manufacturing and test issues.

  • Prepare documentation and strong communication to Manufacturing Engineers for the transfer of a Technology from R&D to Manufacturing.

Quality Control

  • Interpersonal skills and confirmed ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

  • Develop external contacts to achieve new ideas and procedures to keep pace with Industry standards and methods.

  • Extensive usage of data parsing and data analysis for improving yields, test times and quality of the products

Safety

  • Dedication to all company-wide and site safety procedures

  • Ability to continuously improve systems and rare processes

  • Be enthusiastic in reducing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases

What are the requirements?

Minimum AAS plus equivalent experience/background

Strong communications skills both verbal and written

Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics, mechanical aptitude and basic software.

We hope you love working under limited supervision and dealing with constant changes.

What would be nice to have?

BSEET, BSME, BSEE or related field.

We would like you have the openness to travel.

Ability to balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Transparency, Good documentation, leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a meaningful family environment.

You would be ideal if you possessed:

Tried ability to contribute to issues related to process flows

Ability to work through prototype builds from mechanical assembly drawings and system level schematics.

As an NPI System Administrator, you will maintain, upgrade and manage software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. Candidate should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You will be ensuring any factory, sub-con, CM technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. . Responsibilities: * Install and configure software and hardware and networks * Manage network servers and technology tools * Set up accounts and workstations * Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements * Troubleshoot issues and outages * Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls * Upgrade systems with new releases and models * Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies * Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies * Ensure the efficiency of IT infrastructure Training * Develop a training plan for assigned products. * Provide training to the local SIG CM support team and contract manufacturing team members. Travel * Travel to contract manufacturing sites in the U.S. and overseas as needed to provide training and setup of the initial assembly processes as well as other aspects for continued support. * Complete detailed Travel Reports to document activities and action items that were discussed during the travel. CM Support * First point of contact for the local SIG CM support teams to escalate questions regarding build or test issues. * Provide detailed troubleshooting guidance. * Communicate frequently with the local SIG CM support team and contract manufacturing sites to proactively address manufacturing and test issues. * Coordinate with the local SIG CM support team and contract manufacturing sites to release process and design changes to manufacturing processes and associated manufacturing tools. * Coordinate product transfers with the SIG product team Quality Control * Apply specific focus to all documentation requiring effectivity and version control. * Work with the SIG development engineering and field service teams to create FOI procedures for assigned products. * Follow up on quality issues with SIG Quality and the field service team as needed. * Coordinate with the local SIG CM support team to release process and design changes for manufacturing processes and associated manufacturing tools. * Coordinate product transfers with the SIG CM support team. Safety * Follow all site safety processes and procedures. * Utilize JHA processes when needed. * Consistently perform job responsibilities with safety as a priority.
