We are looking for a New Business Manager to support the M&C Saatchi Consultancy pillar. The ideal candidate will have a strong business development background and will be responsible for managing the pillar's global demand generation programs all in the service of generating sales.

This role is a combination of new business and marketing responsibilities, and you will report to the pillar's Head of Global Marketing and New Business.

The M&C Saatchi Consulting division represents multiple trading brands that currently include Clear, Re, Fluency, MCD, One-to-One and The Source. Collectively these brands trade in multiple geographies.

What you'll do:

As a New Business Manager at M&C Saatchi Consulting, you will be an integral part of the development and delivery of our global marketing and new business plan. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Marketing and New Business, your mission is to drive the expansion of our Consulting pillar by executing a comprehensive demand generation strategy and outreach plan.

The overall all aim for this role is to activate the global marketing plan by generating qualified new business leads, identify growth opportunities, and manage outbound programs. Your role will be instrumental in converting prospects into qualified leads and contributing significantly to our new business revenue. The ideal candidate will have a hybrid background in business development/sales, marketing and CRM management.

New Business

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and market analysis to drive revenue and awareness for the M&C Saatchi Consultancy pillar.

  • Lead Qualification: Identify, qualify, distribute and analyze leads, ensuring alignment with the Consultancy pillar's capabilities and target market.

  • Revenue Growth: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Head of Global Marketing and New Business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through effective lead conversion.

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations, understanding their unique advertising needs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Global Marketing & New Business and SLT to ensure seamless integration between marketing and new business activities, especially for lead nurturing and conversions.

  • Sales Presentations: Be a strong supporter and contribute to presentations, proposals and key prospect meetings as needed.

  • Pipeline Management: Be a strong supporter and contribute to the management of the global pipeline. Manage reporting of new business activity through CRM (HubSpot) ensuring data is updated weekly.

  • Market Analysis: Track and compile weekly marketing intelligence (M&As, IPOs, executive moves) reports for SLT, especially for outbound activities and identifying growth opportunities.

  • CRM Management: Utilize CRM (HubSpot) to maintain accurate records for new business activities, lead nurturing, lead scoring and conversions. Build and maintain hygienic top target data lists for current and prospect contacts across regions.

  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on new business activities, sources, qualified meetings and market insights to Head of Global Marketing and New Business and SLT.

Marketing

  • Lead Nurturing: Collaborate with and support the Head of Global Marketing and New Business & the SLT in the management of the funnel from building awareness to driving engagement, especially by managing lead generation and nurturing activities.

  • Data Management: Use the CRM (HubSpot) to manage and build top target database for demand generation programs and activities, especially to develop best practices for hygiene, segmentation, workflows and lead scoring. As well, always ensure data alignment for the global pipeline reporting.

  • Assist and facilitate content creation and operations for the pillar's digital presence and marketing technology stack as needed.

  • Outbound Programs: Collaborate and identify creative approaches for demand generation programs, as well develop effective means for tracking and measuring marketing data (HubSpot, GA4, social media analytics, etc.) and adjust strategies to maximize lead generation results.

  • Events: Collaborate and contribute for events (owned & earned), especially for targeted recruitment, preparation, lead generation and follow-up.

  • Experience in business development or sales at professional services firm and/or agency.

  • Proven track record of generating qualified meetings to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

  • Motivated by setting and delivering on KPIs.

  • Deep understanding of brand building, digital marketing trends and various media channels.

  • Proficiency in marketing tech solutions relevant to the market.

  • Relevant experience and a proven track record of successful lead generation and conversions.

  • Experience in CRM/sales software, such as HubSpot.

  • Digital platform certifications are a plus.

  • Demonstrates the ability to identify and seize opportunities in the market, constantly seeking ways to grow the business.

  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, capable of taking initiative and working independently without constant supervision.

  • Tenacious and determined in pursuing leads and opportunities, with a strong willingness to overcome obstacles and challenges.

  • Possesses a resilient attitude, able to handle rejection or setbacks while maintaining a positive outlook.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills across a business

  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

For the right candidate, we will offer a competitive benefits package including: 20 vacation days, 401k match, annual pay reviews, flexible working, and WFH opportunities. Salary is dependent on experience but ranges from: $80,000 - $100,000. All candidates must have the ability to work in the US; we are unable to sponsor any work visas for this role.
