Position Overview
3Cinteractive's New Business Development Manager (NBDM) is a key role in the 3C sales organization and will report directly to the Vice President of Client Strategy. The NBDM is responsible for stimulating new client acquisition through the identification of closing of new client sales opportunities. The NBDM role at 3C will be responsible for prospecting new client sales through cold prospecting and through industry event attendance. A successful NBDM will be able to leverage a deep digital and mobile marketing expertise and industry thought leadership to develop trusted advisor relationships with prospective 3C clientsas well as manage a sales process from beginning to end. The BDM will work closely with 3C's Marketing and Business Development organizations, as well as maintaining strong alignment with Client Success and Client Directors to ensure a consistent client experience as they progress through the client lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities

  • Meets targets for lead qualification, new client acquisition and new client sales revenue goals

  • Establishes themselves as a digital and mobile marketing industry thought leader

  • Develops and nurtures strong relationships with prospective 3C clients through event attendance, executive networking and effective social selling

  • Maintain expertise on 3C offerings and articulate how they help prospective clients achieve business goals

  • Deliver effective client calls and presentations to help identify and qualify new client sales opportunities

  • Overcome client objections and challenges to adopting 3C solutions

  • Lead and complete client contract negotiations

  • Clearly communicate identified and qualified sales opportunity criteria to Client Success Managers and Client Director to ensure a consistent client lifecycle experience

  • Provides internal feedback on market trends, insights and competitive learnings

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from four-year accredited institution

  • 5+ years experience in client-facing sales role

  • 5-10 years of digital and/or mobile marketing industry experience

  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to set and achieve challenging goals

  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organization and follow-up skills
