Neuroscience Sales Specialist

Our customer, Janssen's Neuroscience division offers medications for the treatment of schizophrenia and continues to develop products in mental health. The primary objective of the specialty representative is to meet established sales goals by delivering real value to our customers through differentiated products and services. The specialty representative will be supported in this initiative with tools and promotional resources designed to have local impact. The successful representative will demonstrate the ability to target and manage their territory strategically while operating within an assigned budget. They will also need to be a highly engaged, positive team player and show a high degree of customer focus. The customer base generally for this role would be inclusive of Health Care Professional and treatment team members in the private Psychiatry and Community Mental Health settings.

Neuroscience Sales Specialist Role:

  • Applies account management approach, consultative selling skills, and clinical expertise to enhance our business and build support for our portfolio of products.

  • Analyzes and applies qualitative and quantitative market data to assess business opportunities and priorities, including relevant impact of local, District, and Region health care quality, delivery and reimbursement trends.

  • Demonstrates business acumen and ability to understand and deliver current brand strategies across the schizophrenia and mood therapeutic areas.

  • Develops and applies knowledge of payer access and affordability landscape in the territory regarding the company's products.

  • Performs business analytics to recognize customer opportunities, strengths, and trends, and to monitor the effectiveness of the business plan. Adjusts the plan to minimize the impact of competition and to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Works effectively and efficiently with multiple local internal business partners to align and execute on key business plan objectives.

Qualifications/Experience

  • 4 year Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required

  • 2 plus years of healthcare sales experience required--Proven successful sales track record

  • Broader healthcare sales experience preferred

  • Mental health and mood experience preferred

  • The ability to travel, which may include overnight/weekend travel

  • Must live in the geography and/or be willing to relocate to the geography

  • A valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States is required

VIEW JOBS 5/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-08-20T00:00 Job Summary The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Independence Program (IP) Specialist serves as the primary conduit for severely injured Warriors and family members for integration into the Independence Program and other appropriate WWP programs. The IP Specialist works with individuals with varying physical, mental, and cognitive challenges while maintaining a philosophy of individualized services designed to empower the Warrior and maximize independence and quality of life. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Program management and development: * Ensure programmatic oversight and alignment of resources, services, and goals. * Evaluate warrior funding requests and determine appropriate actions for goal implementation. * Obtain and manage constituent feedback and ensure engagement with WWP programs. * Analyze program engagement data, identify programmatic trends, and provide regular status reports to leadership regarding caseload engagement in WWP services. Resource management and development: * Cultivate and maintain relationships with community resources local to warriors on caseload. Ensure alignment of these resources with warrior needs. * Assist with communication coordination among family members, caregivers, WWP program staff, other external organizations, agencies, and healthcare facilities. * Collaborate with national Independence Program team to identify and report on national trends, needs of population, and resource development. * Provide IP briefs both externally and internally. * Identify, develop, conduct, lead, and participate in special projects, e.g., event coordination and planning, training, curriculum development, research, presentations, mentoring, and other programmatic endeavors. Enrollment and program initiatives: * Perform intake processes and conduct interviews and assessments. Provide recommendations regarding program enrollment. Collaborate with other teammates and independent contractors regarding program enrollment, retention, and overall participation strategies. * Provide service recommendations to families waiting for enrollment. * Actively participate in committee assignments. Caseload management: * Monitor cost levels for assigned cases, identify trends, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improving service delivery, impact of services, and strategies to increase reach and scope of service availability. * Serve as WWP primary point of contact and work collaboratively with contracted case managers on high-touch support for designated warrior and family systems. * Maintain and update all WWP electronic tracking systems, specifically the warrior and family member, spouse, and/or caregiver database (Salesforce). * Other duties as assigned.
