We are seeking a Neuromodulation Pricing & Analytics Manager to help in the development and transformation work being done on our class III medical device technologies for neuromodulation and cardiac surgery. LivaNova is embarking on a transformational growth program and Pricing has been identified as a strategic priority and key pillar by the executive leadership of the company to support our ambition of development. Pricing excellence requires building capabilities, developing long-term strategies and ensuring greater discipline on execution allowing us to optimize our commercial conditions and margin.
This is a newly created function with numerous vital processes to define and implement. Moving onwards the role of Pricing is to deliver additional value working constructively with internal stakeholders such as Sales and Marketing teams to optimize our pricing strategy and execution.
We have recently launched a global initiative to define the critical fundamentals of Pricing and we are setting up a new dedicated function to drive this initiative. For this new team, we are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for building new processes/capabilities, getting in front many different internal stakeholders and customers to influence change and working in a dynamic and demanding environment.
The newly created Neuromodulation Pricing & Analytics Manager position will assist in the development and execution of global pricing strategies and implement pricing tactically. This position will require that you analyze and interpret data, build relevant pricing diagnostic reports, assist with the determination of appropriate pricing strategies for various distribution channels, countries and technologies as well as develop/implement standard work. The individual will need to liaise with all members of the Pricing team and will report to the Global Neuromodulation & NA Pricing Director.
Your role will revolve around the following primary responsibilities:
Support Regional Pricing leader in Pricing execution. Working closely with the local Pricing leader, you will drive and support the roll-out of any project related to Pricing such as new process, a new tool or new guidelines.
You will build a trusted business partner relationship with sales and marketing teams by investing in understanding their requirements and challenges and using experience and strategic thinking to help meet their objectives. Working closely with them, you will enable the early involvement of pricing for crucial commercial initiatives. As part of the Global Pricing team, your mission is to make the function at LivaNova the trusted partner when business needs to make strategic commercial decisions.
Supports Regional Pricing leader in establishing and maintaining competitive intelligence and price monitoring. You will work closely with the Pricing team, the Contract management team in NA, the Marketing teams and Sales teams to collect competitive insights helping the team driving better long-term strategy and short-term execution. You will also be responsible for monitoring Price execution and proposing any improvement plans to correct deviation from targets.
Support for Pricing tools. Provide expertise and ad-hoc support to users of Pricing tools aiming to ensure optimal use of the tools
Yearly price corridor review. Support the local Pricing leader in managing the annual pricing review by providing comprehensive and actionable reports and insights, and help during the implementation of new guidelines
Pricing Committee. Team up with Finance and contracts to follow up on decisions from Pricing Committee
To succeed in this role, we are looking for individuals with a blend of strategic thinking, passion for rolling up their sleeves for making things happen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be working across different product categories, and different geographies were, therefore, requesting willingness to learn, ability to drive changes transversally and leadership mindset.
To be eligible for this role, you must have worked in a similar position for at least three years, experience in MedTech being a definite asset, and have the first-hand experience of some of the challenges mentioned above and responsibilities.
