The purpose of the Neurology Sales Specialist is to increase sales and market share in their assigned geographic and therapeutic areas. Successful interaction with healthcare professionals and other designated decision makers is a primary responsibility.
Utilizing all available Sales and Marketing resources is a key expectation. Major duties and responsibilities that are critical and necessary, and that must be done to achieve this position's overall objective.
Delivers sales results via calls on targeted physicians in 80% assigned territory to implement sales, marketing and patient support programs to get and keep patients on Teva Neuroscience products
Trains and educates physician support staff on the proper use, handling and administration of Teva Neuroscience products
Assures that healthcare professionals have realistic expectations concerning the use of Teva Neuroscience products with their patients
Maintains communication and integrates activities, when 10% appropriate, with Professional Education and Account Management
Identifies customer changes and ensures, through coordinated 10% communication and planning, that appropriate people and financial resources are allocated to address the change
The Akron Ohio territory extends from North Mentor, OH; South Youngstown, OH; East Warren, OH; West Medina, OH. The Ideal candidate would live in or around Akron, Ohio.
Education required: Bachelor's Degree
Education preferred: Bachelor's Degree in science or business
Specific experience required: 5 plus years pharmaceutical or health related fields, 3 years Prior Authorization Experience Pharma sales experience preferred
