The Role
Headlands Research is looking for a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at our Eastern MA location. The ideal candidate is passionate about clinical trials and making a difference and a team player who can collaborate and move at a fast pace. We require previous all-ages experience as an advanced provider and willing to consider those without direct clinical research experience.
Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Responsibilities
Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting under the direction of the physician in charge of the clinical trial
Conducts study-related physical exams and follow-up visits
Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol
Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants' eligibility
Maintains proper documentation
Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited PA program
Current and unencumbered license to practice as a PA in the state of MA required
New or recent graduates welcomed to apply!
Previous experience serving as investigator on previous clinical trials preferred but not required
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
