Position Summary: This is a clinical position where the incumbent performs neuro-diagnostic testing including EEG studies in both the outpatient ambulatory and inpatient settings.# Incumbent must be technically adept, have excellent patient care and customer service skill sets, and be able to work with severely ill pediatric patient populations.

Position Requirements: Education: High School graduate or equivalent; graduate from an accredited training program in Neurodiagnostics is preferred, however, a combination of education and on-the-job training may be accepted in lieu of an accredited training program. Experience: Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary health provider team. 1 year of experience as a EEG Technologist preferred.


Certification Required:


Current American Heart BLS Certification Required. Must complete National Certification testing (R.

EEG T.) within 2 years of hire and receive registration from the American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET) as a Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG T.) Physical Requirements: Sit: Up to 6 hours/day Stand/Walk: 4-6 hours Bend/Stoop: Up to 6 hours Reach:

Up to 6 hours Rep Use of UE: Up to 6 hours Lift/Push/Pull: 50 pounds, over 50 pounds with assistance or equipment This job requires the ability to hear alarms, clients and/or instruction. The ability to see accurately from 20 inches to 20 feet. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
