The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Neurology, Section of Neuroimmunology, is seeking a full-time Neuroimmunology MS Specialist to join our growing team.

About the position

You will lead independent research initiatives aimed at developing innovative projects and publishing scholarly publications in neuroimmunology. Supervise neurology residents on the general neurology consult service, overseeing their training in hospital settings and the general neurology clinic, with continuity clinic supervision typically once a month. Provide compassionate care to patients in our outpatient neurology clinic, ensuring personalized treatment plans and comprehensive support. Engage in educating medical students both in hospital wards and clinics, offering occasional lectures to enrich their learning experience. This position offers a stimulating environment to blend clinical expertise, research leadership, and educational excellence in the dynamic field of neuroimmunology.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD/DO

  • Board certified/eligible in Neurology

  • Fellowship trained in Clinical Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis

  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
