We are looking for an experienced Neuroemdovascular Radiology Technologist to support our Surgical Services Team in the Neuro Operating Room at Baptist Medical Center located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time position working a shift of 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Call is required. This Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist position will be assigned to the Neuro Operating Room that has 5 OR Suites, 2 IR Suites, and was built with state-of-the-art technology including intraoperative CT and MRI. Our Neuro IR techs assist in procedures involving the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the blood vessels of the brain and spine. As a Neuro IR tech at Baptist Health, some of the responsibilities include: procedural & patient preparation, imaging assistance, instrument handling, patient monitoring, post-procedural care & documentation, and equipment maintenance.
As a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist, your responsibilities include:
Performs high quality radiographic images.
Functions as member of a team performing interventional procedures.
Works under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR.
Promotes good will among co-workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
Licensure note: ARRT & CRT required for this position.
