Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center is an 881-bed quaternary care academic medical center that is a joint venture between Baylor College of Medicine and CHI St. Luke's Health. Located in the Texas Medical Center, the hospital is the home of the Texas Heart Institute, a cardiovascular research and education institution founded in 1962 by Denton A. Cooley, MD. The hospital was the first facility in Texas and the Southwest designated a Magnet hospital for Nursing Excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, receiving the award five consecutive times. Baylor St. Luke's also has three community emergency centers offering adult and pediatric care for the Greater Houston area.

Perform accurate standard and complex EEG recordings at the bedside and in the laboratory on a routine, emergency and on-call basis to adolescent, adult and elderly patients.
Attend all hospital required in-services, adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures and Participates in hospital and departmental goals and objectives.
Display a positive attitude and appropriate behavior including being courteous, cooperative and respectful to physicians, supervisor, co-workers and patients and their families.
Maintain and clean equipment and laboratory area on a daily basis.
Assist with delivering reports and transporting patients to and from the laboratory, as needed as well as any other job related duties as assigned.
Enhance professional growth and development through educational programs, current literature, Workshops and conferences.
Position Responsible for performing electroneurodiagnostic tests. Performs standard and complex electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and specialized monitoring procedures. Provide high quality, cost effective care in a professional, kind and compassionate manner to all patients in a safe and timely manner while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to hospital and departmental mission statements and policies. Provide education to patients and their families concerning neurodiagnostic testing. Assist physicians in the diagnosis of diseases and disorders of the brain, central nervous system and peripheral nervous system
