3LS team is seeking for a Cybersecurity and Network Engineer to ensure the security of our components and overall security of our solutions. The Cybersecurity role will have accountability for deploying tools, improving security posture, and helping with compliance as we work towards Cybersecurity certifications. You will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to ensuring the security of our components and overall security of our solution along with working on complex network related issues from our Enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
Will work on complex software and hardware issues from our Enterprise customers and also be a Cybersecurity liaison for the 3LS team.
Will work with various teams in design and integration of quality requirements, processes, and practices into the development, design, manufacturing, and continuous improvement of products and solutions based on the learnings from the issues experienced with our major accounts.
Expands relationships with internal and outsourced partners for quality, product manufacturing and development.
Reviews and evaluates product and solution designs and production activities for potential quality issues.
Provides tangible feedback based on results and root-cause analysis and implements solutions to improve product quality and mitigate risk of failures.
Provides domain-specific expertise and engineering leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, and contributes to other complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.
Also provides leadership in anything and everything Cybersecurity.
Implements and maintains security tools and processes.
Follows and improves policy documentation and procedures.
Owns resolution of security issues related to security vulnerabilities, incidents, and threats.
Combines industry expertise with a thorough understanding of information and security technology to direct development of vulnerability remediation or mitigation plans.
Education & Experience Recommended•
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

In-depth security system analysis skills.
In-depth understanding of security standards and best practices.
In-depth risk assessment and management skills.
In-depth understanding of networking and network security.
In-depth understanding of network monitoring and protocols.
Understanding Network security devices cognized bodies preferred: SANS, ISACA, (ICS)2, CompTIA, Cisco, CERT etc.
Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in solving network related issues and In-depth Cyber and IT security knowledge. (firewalls, proxies, NIDS/NIPS, etc.).
Knowledge of Platform and application-layer penetration testing techniques.
