What you'll do: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot to improve network optimization Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, SD-WAN, Wireless AP & Controllers, and Firewalls Interface with vendors, including Verizon, ATT, Spectrum, etc.

IP address auditing Switch port configurational support, including segmented LAN (VLAN) & Voice Coordination of cable installation Weekly 24-hour on-call rotation May assist with administering video conferencing systems and presentation tools Works with the various IT teams and plant staff to define and implement departmental projects Defines, documents, and enforces system standards Travel to provide support What you need to have: BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field experience is required. Familiarity and exposure to Cisco Switches, static\dynamic routing, and wireless is a must.

Work independently or collectively with a team. Establish a positive working relationship with internal and external customers, hourly production employees, and the entire IT staff. Use good troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues.

Have good communication skills for presentations to upper management. Work with multiple vendors as well as upper management. Network certification or the ability to obtain one within a year of employment.
