Responsibilities
The Network Manager ensures network availability to all users of a local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). Installs, configures, supports and monitors GH's network, test performance, and perform needed upgrades and maintenance. They will provide technical and project management direction to internal and contract network engineering resources, manage task resource assignments and deliver on time on budget with required functionality. They are responsible for timely, quality delivery of project work and ensure a stable network by defining and implementing engineering best practices and processes for data and voice networks. They will ensure that teams are meeting SLAs and champions the department's mission, vision, and values.
Provide overall direction and guidance to assigned project team members. This includes overseeing the formulation/definition of project and system scope and objectives based on equipment specifications and user defined needs, the modification of procedures to solve complex problems and user procedures, and the preparation of detailed specifications for system functionality. Responsible for integration, development, testing, implementation, support, and quality assurance for all projects assigned to the team.

Compensation for the role is $150,000 USD annually.
Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member's compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity)
Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and either 8 years related experience or 4 years direct; OR an approved equivalent combination of education and experience while working toward a bachelor's degree.
Extensive IT management and strategic experience.
Required Certification/Registration:
Enterprise Network, Data Center and Wireless (CISCO).
Palo-Alto Next-Gen Firewalls
F5 LTM, APM, WAF and DNS
Skills and Abilities Required
Over 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on networking and security.
Proficiency in multiple network environments or platforms.
Experience with Wireless, Firewalls, Load-Balancers, Site-to-Site and Remote access VPNs
Experience with Data Center Switching, Data Center Failover, and Cloud Networking
Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the company's networks.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive complex IT projects and initiatives
Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001, CISA, and NIST
Ability to work with a computer terminal for extended periods.
Provide strong leadership and mentoring to the network engineering team
Collaborating across departments to ensure IT solutions are in line with overall business objectives.

Working Conditions:
