Our direct client is seeking an Network Systems Engineer to join their team.
Job experience:
At least 7 years or more experience as a Network Engineer with a strong Cisco and related network systems technologies background. This position will require technical leadership, incident management, design, and solution deployment experience.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
o Cisco Certifications preferred.
o F5 Certifications a plus.
o Knowledge of SDN and NFV technologies a plus.
o Familiarity with ITIL processes are a plus.
Technical Skills:
o Extensive experience with Data Center, LAN, WAN, Network Security, VoIP application (H.323/SIP) solutions and architectures.
o Senior level experience optimizing site performance with strong knowledge in Networks, Browsers, Content Delivery, etc.
o Senior level experience configuring routing protocols and other network technologies such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, SSL VPN, IPSEC, GRE, L2TPv3, NAT/PAT, PPP, MPLS, QoS, STP, HSRP, VTP, VPC, VDC, OTV, Ether channel, WAN Acceleration, IPv4, IPv6.
o Senior level experience with Cisco Nexus Data Center technology.
o Senior level experience with WAN deployments including: EIGRP/BGP route redistribution over MPLS networks, route maps and filtering, traffic prioritization and QOS policies.
o Experience in using various monitoring tools like network simulators, load generators, profilers, monitors, analysis and reporting.
o Knowledge of Public DNS.
o Working knowledge of F5 LTM and GTM technologies.
o Experience with SolarWinds and LiveAction a plus.
o Experience with AWS Services a plus.
o Knowledge of Wireless technologies 802.11a/b/g/n, WPA2, WLC, WAP.
o Advanced knowledge of UNIX and Windows Operating Systems.
o Demonstrated ability to perform coordination and problem isolation with Telcos.
o Experience with installation and support of international locations a plus.

Current Need We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team with in-depth knowledge of the planning, design, implementation and troubleshooting of networked systems to join our Remote Network Implementation Services team. Position Description Responsible for operations of a company's internal data communications systems, including LANs and/or WANs. Plans, designs, and implements networked systems, including configurations; supporting/troubleshooting network problems; coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, switches and wireless networking hardware; project implementation; providing training and assisting with proposal writing. Responsible for project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons. May research and evaluate emerging network and communication technology. Minimum Requirements 8+ years experience in the operations of a company's internal data communications systems, including LANs and/or WANs Critical Skills * Experience leading the overall planning and design of data and communications networks and creating requirement specifications based on architecture/design/detailing of processes * 6+ yrs experience deploying Cisco IOS-based networking devices within a 24x7 environment. Experience to include routing, switching, wireless (802.11x), & WAN optimization * 6+ yrs experience with LAN switching environments including Spanning Tree, 802.1q, Virtual Routing & Forwarding (VRF), etc. * 4+ yrs experience with Ethernet and fiber optic connectivity * 4+ yrs experience deploying wireless networks in an Enterprise or Warehouse environment * Demonstrated experience working with internal and external customers as a service provider * Diverse IOS experience in the design, implementation and troubleshooting on a wide range of data center level equipment to include – but not limited to Routers, Cisco Access Switches, Wireless, SDWAN, & Netscout Additional Knowledge & Skills * Proficient project management skills displayed through successful implementations, completing assignments, meeting timelines, and keeping within budget * Experience with edge router WAN circuit (Ethernet, T3, Multilink,T1) provisioning, configuration and troubleshooting * Demonstrated experience with Telecom managed MPLS deployments.
