Job Responsibilities:

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment maintaining LAN / WAN services, remote access, network services, firewalls, load-balancer availability, and security in the Everi gaming environment.

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment performing network modeling, analysis, and testing to support new products.

  • Customarily and regularly develop test plans, implementation plans and project timelines for various projects.

  • Customarily and regularly write functional requirements/specifications and maintain documentation.

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.

  • Customarily and regularly upgrade network hardware and software components as required.

  • Serve as architect managing and maintaining all network components, functions, and implementations.

  • Serve as primary contact for troubleshooting problems and developing innovative gaming network solutions.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical field, or equivalent work experience required.

  • Certification in one of the following required: CCNA, CCNP, BCEFP or similar.

Job Knowledge/Work Experience:

  • 5-8 years' on the job experience in the gaming industry.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of several software, system, and network technologies.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with IPSEC site-to-site VPNs, remote access client VPN, BGP routing protocols, static routes, VLANs, and SSL / TLS.

  • Proficient understanding of the TCP / IP protocol stack, application protocols such as SNMP, SMTP, DNS, and DHCP.

  • Proficient understanding of the design and implementation of security controls for LAN / WAN architectures.

  • Proficient understanding of configuration of Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and Barracuda load balancers.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Solar Winds, Wireshark, and Splunk.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of VMWare, MS Server, MS Sequel, and PowerShell.

The Business Platform group at Indeed is responsible for delivering the applications, systems, and platforms that power Indeed's business. This is done with a combination of SaaS applications, Cloud infrastructure, and internal systems that integrate together to give Sales, Client Success, Marketing, and Finance teams the capabilities they need to provide great customer experience and grow Indeed's business. Our systems must scale to provide near-real-time data on tens of millions of customer records and transactions daily. As the Senior Technical Architect, you will work across all of Indeed's enterprise systems to advance the capabilities of the business platform, provide technical direction to enterprise projects, and ensure that the platform and projects are successfully achieving the desired business outcomes. You will be involved in all project lifecycles from planning and inception through to testing and rollout, with a heavy focus on the planning, solutioning, and design phase. You will collaborate with stakeholders and partners throughout Indeed. Responsibilities: * Build relationships with internal customers and partners to understand their needs, priorities, roadmap, and definition of success. * Drive the technical evaluation of technologies and vendor solutions including industry trends and best practices * Develop and communicate system and solution documentation intended for both business and technical audiences. * Develop and communicate solution designs that scale to enterprise-scale data and application challenges. * Design data models and strategies for critical company-wide data such as customers, products, revenue, and organizational structure. * Develop proofs-of-concept, prototypes, and frameworks for new systems and architectures that enable detailed technical planning for implementation teams. * Drive integration strategy for enterprise platforms and applications. * Provide feedback and direction to the plans and project work of other Technical and Enterprise Architects. * Oversee the implementation of platform improvements and business projects. About you. You are driven by solving hard challenges and delivering value for your customers. You're comfortable leading technical teams to deliver large, complex projects, but are not afraid to get your hands on the keyboard, lead by example, or debug a critical production issue. You are a strong communicator, able to understand your customers, translate between business and technical concepts, and help your customers understand the business impact of a technical decision. You are pragmatic and able to plan a project while thinking on multiple timescales. You are comfortable working in a dynamic organization with some project ambiguity. You think in terms of risk and how to reduce it, but understand sometimes you just need to manage risk.
