Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Mid-Level Network Specialist, in the Clarksburg, WV area, with strong Customer relationships. The FSS Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. The Mid-Level Network Specialist's Responsibilities include:

  • Designs, installs, maintains and coordinates the use of the network system.

  • Evaluates hardware, software and peripheral equipment.

  • Manages network performance to maintain high quality transmission service on the network.

  • Maintains, create/deletes user accounts, maintains and updates system security plans on all platforms. Implements and coordinates network policies, procedures and standards.

  • Enforces security procedures. Supervises and schedules the network technician staff and trains users.

  • Provides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations. Designs, builds, and implements network systems.

  • Directs compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance. Troubleshoots network performance issues. Analyzes network traffic and provides capacity planning solutions.

  • Monitors and responds to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems. Interfaces with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.

  • Manages the purchase, testing, installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/MAN/WAN systems.

  • Performs system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, OS, and other platform specifications.

  • Plans large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies.

  • Performs a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipment.

  • Provides quality assurance review and the evaluation of new and existing software products.

  • Provides assistance and oversight for all information systems operations activities, including computer and telecommunications/communications operations, data entry, data control, LAN/MAN/WAN administration and operations support, operating systems programming, system security policy procedures, and/or web strategy and operations.

  • Provides input to policy level discussions regarding standards and budget constraints.

  • Coordinates the operation and support of network facilities, including all communications equipment on various platforms in large scale or multi-shift operations.

  • Supervises complex operations that involve two or more additional functions such as, but not limited to, network operations, systems security, systems software support, and production support activities.

  • Monitors and responds to hardware, software, and network problems.

  • Provides the routine testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities (including power, software, communications machinery, lines, modems, and terminals).

  • Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performance.

  • Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the network

  • Network performance tuning, Network component upgrades, Network component patching to all COTS Network products.

  • Network interfaces, external network interfaces, and other systems network interfacing.

Position Requirements:

  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; or equivalent preferred

  • 4 - 7 years of directly related work experience preferred

  • Experience with COMPS is a major plus.

Security Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance required. Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or Management Information Systems) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related (data center environment) experience. Degrees Equivalent Experience/Education

Primary Responsibilities: * All medically related functions performed by a nurse practitioner are to be performed under the supervision of a properly licensed physician * Responsible for the exceptional treatment and communication of care options to every MedExpress patient * Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of the latest changes, updates, and literature relating to medical care * Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical charts * After consultation with the AP Program Medical Director, oversees patient issues and concerns which may include but are not limited to patient medical care * Provides and manages direct patient care, including assessments, physical examinations, evaluations, diagnoses and treatment. Works in collaboration with designated Physician(s) * Orders diagnostic tests, including but not limited to: x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests and with direct medical oversight, interprets the test results for deviation from normal * Performs procedures, including but not limited to: I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound care * Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care * May be required to supervise ancillary staff * Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions and refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care options as appropriate * Communicates with patients regarding test results and appropriate clinical information as care necessitates * Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens Required Qualifications: * Master's degree (MSN) and certification by one of the Nurse Practitioner certifying bodies (ANCC or AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) * Certified in CPR, ACLS and PALS * Must meet credentialing requirements, including licensure, boards and current DEA * Must meet state requirements for independent practice * 2 years' experience as Nurse Practitioner * Working Knowledge of Emergency, urgent care, and occupational medicine fields * Working Knowledge HIPAA, OSHA, HR and billing/coding requirements * Working Knowledge of State and federal laws governing medical services * Ability to learn computer software programs; enter and maintain accurate data and statistical information in order to consistently prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence and other written materials * Valid Prescriptive Authority (per State practice requirements); ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage * Ability to travel to other centers Preferred Qualifications: * Clinical experience in an emergency medicine, urgent care, retail care, primary care and / or ambulatory care setting Working Conditions: * Center-Based * Requires working in a clinical setting * The noise level is moderate and there is a potential for exposure to infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens * Ability to stand and sit for hours at a time, (with some bending and stooping) * Ability to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements * Ability to lift 50lbs.
