Job Description:
Required Skills:
The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Network Security Engineer is responsible for managing the operation and security of the Wide / Local Area Networking hardware and infrastructure, internet security, web content filtering and firewall access, Active Directory, IDS/IPS, VPN via IPsec and SSL, and Network Admission Control.
Experience with Cisco routing and switching is a must. Cisco CCNA required. CCNA Security or CCNP R&S preferred.
Experience with network design a huge plus.
This position serves as an internal Cisco, network, and security consultant to the organization and a security liaison to outside business units that the company may deal with.
Evaluates and performs R&D on new technologies, equipment, and upgrades to existing systems and recommends additions or changes as needed.
Establishes, documents and implements security policies and procedures, and provides direct training and oversight to all information security employees, contractors, alliances, or other third parties, ensuring proper information security clearance in accordance with established organizational information security policies and procedures.
Reviews all system-related security plans throughout the organization's network, and makes recommendations to mitigate risk based on vulnerabilities and threat.
Vendor Management, User Training, Project Assessment and Status Reporting also comprise primary duties.
All duties are under the supervision of the Manager of Network and Information Security.

Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Other reasonable duties may be assigned.
Supervised management, administration and design of WAN/LAN equipment, network, and related infrastructures.
Supervised management of VPN Equipment and related systems.
Supervised management of IPS/IDS Equipment.
Supervised management of Firewalls and Access to the network internally and externally.
Supervised management and recommended direction of the information gathering process required for the installation of a Key Business System
Creating and maintaining SOPs and Internal Controls to meet SOX/404, HIPAA and PCI initiatives and adherence to those policies.
Education:
Prefer a four-year degree in Management Information Systems with focus on IT security or similar Information Technology program.
Requires at least five years of Progressive Information Systems and Technology experience.
CCNA Required (CCNA Security or CCNP Preferred)

You will plan and carry out security measures to monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks. You will participate in large and small-scale audit related engagements under the supervision of the Director, IT Compliance. Our Sr. Security Engineer will assist in the design and drive the execution of key areas of each audit engagement, while assisting more junior members of the team where appropriate. You'll serve as a primary contact with client management, explaining the audit process and scope, keeping management apprised of audit progress and issues, and effectively delivering audit results to all levels of management. You will stay abreast of company business strategies, IT industry technology advances and the risk profile of assigned business areas to ensure relevancy of audit approach. As the primary Security assessor – you will review applications, interact with application owners, identify security risks, establishing the appropriate mitigation steps as necessary with timelines. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Participate in planning and audit scope development as well as project execution as a critical team member on complex technology-related assessments. * Play an active role in the design and execution of Infrastructure initiatives to ensure an evolving adherence to industry best practices for information security. * Lead the execution of the assessment of specific technical areas of a project, supervising other team members and providing coaching where requested. * Provide reports on the effectiveness of the business unit's internal control structure along with recommendations that improve the effectiveness, efficiency and economic value of a control or process. * Assess audit findings / gaps including control weaknesses with an appropriate degree of professional skepticism, seeking to fully understand risks to Clear Capital. Assist technology partners with the development of Management Action Plans to mitigate weaknesses, providing thought leadership on the appropriateness of the Plan. * Evaluate the adequacy and timeliness of management's response and the corrective action taken on relevant weaknesses noted within audit reports. * Provide control consulting services to management to assist in redesign efforts that improve the control environment. * Maintain business relationships with appropriate levels of management to ensure that Audit is aware of changes in business activities and objectives, and a necessary Audit response is developed. * Assist audit management with macro reporting by providing data relevant to technology audit findings. * Promote new ideas and new ways of executing projects and internal infrastructure enhancements. * Demonstrate commitment to client's and the CTO's strategic vision, be a self-starter, and promote project ownership and responsibility for actions.
