This role is responsible to lead innovation and continuous improvement of the network security technology landscape at client.
Improve clients overall network security design through optimization of existing technologies, processes and controls or adoption of new technologies.
This role leads the evolution of the network security architecture that supports clients business needs through the prospection and deployment oversight of current network security technologies that enable the business to adopt or develop cutting-edge solutions while still maintaining a solid security posture.
Lead the direction of Network security through the development of an information security strategy that addresses overall KPMG information security requirements
Define best practice and roadmaps for network security products or solutions and support the development of network security architecture
Collaborate with engineering teams to drive the product roadmaps for security tools, by providing security requirements that help to map security controls and patterns to product features
Work closely with clients information Security team and put a roadmap of products/solutions together
Develop business cases and conduct presentations to senior IT leadership of proposed network security products, solution and studies
Stay abreast of the latest information security regulatory requirements, technologies, controls, practices, techniques and threats and apply to network security products
Lead internal skills development activities for network architecture and engineering teams on new technologies and solutions driven by security requirements, by providing mentoring and by conducting knowledge sharing sessions

Experience in Network Security Design and Engineering, managing and supporting large scale projects and network automaton, preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
Experience designing and implementing network security architecture and reference architectures; from business requirements gathering to technology rollout oversight, including capacity management, definition of scoring methodologies for technology selection, integration of multiple tools and technical documentation
Cisco CCIE, CCNP, CCDP or CISSP certification preferred
Deep understanding of TCP/IP and Routing & Switching
Switching technologies vPC, vPC+, OTV, VDC, VRF, VXLAN, VRF
Routing technologies, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPV4/V6, NAT, ACLs, DNS
Knowledge of NTP, SNMP, NetFlow, CEF, Security Protocols, network management tools
Technical knowledge of remote access technology MPLS, VPN, IP Sec and ACLs; NAC technology
Deep understanding of IDS/IPS such as SourceFire, and Palo Alto
Expert level in firewall technologies, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto is required
Deep understanding of Proxies and Content Filtering technologies such as Bluecoat proxies
Working knowledge of threat intelligent management products such as Arbor TMS, Akamai DDOS protection
Demonstrated experience in vulnerability scanning and related products
Knowledge of event correlation systems to diagnose and manage security events within the firm.
Ability to program with one or more scripting languages (such as Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash and JavaScript);
Knowledge or Hands-on experience with public cloud deployments like AWS, Azure is a plus.
Good knowledge of Network function virtualization Virtual router/Switch, Virtual FW, Virtual Load Balancers
Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority.
Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work. Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
